What does RBC’s Lawsuit Mean for the PLCA?

                                                          FACT OF THE DAY
Collectively, owners in Pelican Landing and The Colony have over 1.5 billion dollars invested in our homes. It is important we protect our financial interests.

WHAT DOES RBC’S LAWSUIT MEAN FOR THE PLCA?

The fact is that PLCA has been named as a nominal party in numerous lawsuits in Lee county such as foreclosure actions. In each of these cases, PLCA’s attorney, Tom Hart, is identified to receive all filings and notifications.  No dire consequences have been suffered by the PLCA as a result.

In the case of the RBC lawsuit — the reality is that no claim or cause of action is being asserted against PLCA or any officer or director or member of PLCA. The PLCA is included as a nominal party and PLCA’s attorney is identified to receive all filings and notifications.  This is not an unusual procedure.
